Wells County Chamber of Commerce

The Wells County Chamber of Commerce and Arts Building is a multi-use facility located on the banks of the Wabash River in Bluffton, Indiana. The key site elements include a river walk, a grand overlook and plaza, decorative retaining walls mirroring the flow of the river, and beautifully landscaped grounds. The site is the northern terminus for Bluffton's River Greenway.

The site offered LandPlan Group a significant challenge due to the steep, ever-changing Wabash River embankment. Curvilinear, decorative retaining walls were designed for the purpose of allowing a rising river to flawlessly flow past the project site with little to no damage to the property.

Fort Wayne Int'l Airport

Fort Wayne International Airport is located at the southern end of Fort Wayne, and underwent extensive building and site upgrades in the late 1990s. A new vehicular circulation system was developed to organize long and short term parking, airline terminal drop-off and employee parking. The main entrance drive and parking areas are beautifully landscaped with both formal and informal plantings that include deciduous and evergreen trees, shrubs, perennials and annual flowers.

New Haven Streetscape

The New Haven Streetscape project is an 8-block, urban corridor improvement connecting U.S. 24 to Downtown New Haven. The new sidewalks include brick pavers, street trees, site furniture, decorative lighting and uniform signage design. The main intersection within downtown includes expanded sidewalks and planting areas that aid in pedestrian safety. The improvements to the intersection at U.S. 24 and Broadway, the main street through downtown, have increased pedestrian safety immensely. Included in the intersection enhancement is a decorative gateway into the downtown. The entire community has witnessed the positive impact the dramatic improvements have made to the City's core.
